I purchased the knife you have several years ago at a sporting goods store, on sale, for $25.00. I believe the retail price was $36.00. On eBay the "Q" knife, new in the box with the paperwork is a very hot item. The bidding range for a "Q" seems to be $50 to $100 depending on the design on the blade. I believe the HK you have is for some type of sporting goods manufacturer that I can't remember right now. I hope this sheds some light on your knife>

Spyderco made the "Q" HK knife for Heckler & Koch. They either used them as a giveaway or sold them as accessories in their firearm line. They were exclusive to H&K, so any left out there are from private owners or H&K sold them themselves. I'll try and find out how many were made. I think at the time a minimum order was 250-500 pieces. I'll ask around.
