I received my new Manix PE yesterday, but didn't open it up until a while ago when I got home from work. The wait was well worth it.

IMO, this is the BEST Spydie that I've ever owned!! :D Man, I LOVE this Spydie!!!

Way to go on this one, Eric!

My Military will be retired from my EDC, coming out only every now and then. ;) I have carried a Millie just about everyday for the past three or so years and this is the first time that I have come across a Spydie, or any knife for that matter, that I feel confident enough in to replace it for my primary EDC....without a second thought. The Manix fits my hand perfectly, gotta love that wide S30V blade, enlarged SpyderHole, excellent ergos, solid lock, hefty feel of the steel liners, etc., etc., etc.......

I'm already making plans on getting a ComboEdge asap for work carry. :D I just HAD to let out my enthusiasm about my new Bug..... :p

Glad you got it Mario! Very glad you like it so much. I love the sound of a lockback clicking into battery, but there's something particularly soul satifying about the solid "thwonk" of the Manix and Chinook. Mine may not be my most carried knife, but it does get a fair amount of "exercise" when I'm just sitting around "thinking".

Just traded for one the other day. It should be here in a week or so. I can't wait. I love the Chinook II but think the Manix will be a little more user friendly with the spear point blade. Take Care and enjoy that new Spydie :D

I sold mine.I loved everything about it except the curved horn on the back of the scales.I was haveing trouble with it not feeling quite right in hand. After I sold it I saw in a thread somewhere about someone else haveing the same trouble but they reshaped the scale to be a little more stright.
I need to get another one and see if I can get this person to reshape it for me.
