Why not add a "view today's theads" option?

Hi all!

I wonder if it was possible to provide a search option for all threads that had been active throughout the day.

"New Posts" is OK but I sometimes miss some threads I actually like to read because of reading too long in a certain thread and due to a refresh the posts that had been on the "new posts" list are gone. :( Retrieving them manually by browsing the forums is time consuming an not as efficient as it could be.

I've seen such an option on other forums and found it always very useful. IMO this could be a great addition to this forum aswell (maybe in the "Quick Links" section).

What do you think about it?

In the options settings page of your user control panel, towards the middle-to-end of the whole option list, there is the age display option.

You can choose to display all threads ever posted or only yesterday's posts and many increments in between the extremes.

Won't these settings suffice?

Hmmm. Interesting, I've never noticed this option :o

I just tried it out but when I hit "New Posts" I still get the ones with the latest replies. Getting every active thread between 00:00 yesterday and 00:00 today is what I am looking for.

You must have some kind of filter set Rob, mine shows everything for the past 24 hrs if I hit the New Posts button.

I thought it might be a cookie-problem so I deleted all cookies, restarted everthing but still the same as before. :confused:
