Is :spyder: going to come out with an Endura with a 14 mm Spyder Hole?

Why not make 14 mm a standard for all the knives, well most of them?

Why? Because I don't like 14mm holes! :D

I personally can't stand holes over 12mm. They create too much of a hump and I don't need any hole bigger than 12mm (11mm is my favorite). I had a Paramilitary which would be one of my favorite knives but I traded because of the 14mm hole.

While I admit that a 14 mm diam. hole has its utility under certain circumstances, I am perfectly comfortable with smaller opening holes and I wouldn't like an oversized hump on the blade too.

I use to cry for a 14mm hole but have since changed my mind. I like it fine at 12.

The bigger, the better! :D

I would even vote for a 15 mm hole like the old Snap-It's had. They open sooo comfortably for rather small knives! I think that more smaller knives should have bigger holes.

Although I prefer 14mm on any knife where it will fit, I understand that not everyone agrees, and that Spyderco's needs to cater to a variety of tastes. Fact is, as long as there's enough metal to allow it, it's fairly easy for me to have someone enlarge a hole I find annoyingly small. On the other hand, it's pretty difficult to shrink one down for someone who finds a 14mm too large. If you like the Endura, but want a 14mm :spyder:hole, the Pacific Salt might be worth looking at.
