View Full Version : Emerson CQC7A with a Hole
As classic designs go this has to be one of them but it lacks the clear advantage a Spyderco has.The Hole. If the working respect is high between your 2 companies and Emerson would agree to licence the hole a combined Spyderco/Emerson limited edition would,I think, go down a storm. Whatdoes everyone think? Sal?

v34 -- Poor idea in my view. Quality apparently has vastly different meanings to Emerson than it does to Sal. Furthermore, I seriously doubt that the self-anointed leader of the knife world would acknowledge that anyone could improve on one of his designs. Besides, since I read Emerson's self-anointing/appointing, I have vowed never to spend a nickel that could get into his pocket. Check out his website if your gag level is pretty high.

Spyderco is no longer licencing the round Hole to other manufacturers, just to custom makers. This is why BM is now using an oval hole for their AFCK and other knives.
Hi V34. Thanx for the input, but it is as Carlos says. Only Spyderco production pieces with round holes.
