Due to excellent customer service I've only ever bought my :spyder: 's from NGK and the spyderco store. What online stores do you find fair and reputable?

I have used 1sks and Knife Outlet with great results.
Don't forget SFO, I bought my Salsa from them and they were great!

I use Sawyers Cutlery. They have a store and web site or on ebay under the name razoesharpknife.
www.knivkompaniet.se based in stockholm sweden, a store and a website :)
I try to give as much business to Fred at the knifeoutlet as possible. He has been very fair to me in the past. When it comes to Spydercos though, I usually buy from newgraham.com

Hey all,
At the risk of sounding like an echo I'd have to say NGK all the way.

I have used Spyderco outlet, and NGK, but the best service for me is a local firm called Gadget Man (www.gadgetman.co.za).

The ones I've done the most business with have all been mentioned. I've had excellent results dealing with NGK, Sawyers, JFJ and SFO. And, although somewhat more specialized, I've found Santa Fe Stoneworks and its owner Bill Wirtel a pleasure to deal with as well.

NGK is great, mainly for their service. You can tell there's a spydieknut or two behind that website! Spyderco online ordering is also very good.
In Europe, toolshop.de is highly recommended. Again, mostly for the range of products and service. But lately I've had good dealings with Holland Knives, a Dutch specialty dealer! :D

some of the knives are a little bit more expansive than at NGK but as they don't put the actual price of the item on customs declarations, it's less expansive by 15-20% overall
NGK all the way. Love the bandaids.
Ever since I found out, that NGK is willing to procure even items for me that are not on their webpage, I don't really need to look around anymore. NGK all the way.

interesting that almost all of the Americans here use NGK or the SFO. I would have guessed more variety :o

New Graham and Razorsharp. I have had no problems with them. :)
I have had trouble with East County guns on Ebay. I am currently having problems with Flames-n-knives.

You're not the first to experience that recently. Somethings up, ya think?
As far as New Graham, although I've never used them yet, I will say I've never seen a dealer so beloved by it's customers. It's not just here on the SpyderForums, but EVERY knife forum. And I'm thinking, I've never seen a negative comment either, not one. That's some record! I hope to use them in the near future. I'm sure they are proud of the hard won reputation.
OK New Graham, you can send the knife you promised for saying that to..... :D (JUST TEASING) :D

I'd bet they get a ton of e-mail each week with the volume of sales they have. Maybe a call would be in order. It's been just recently that folks started experiencing problems....wrong orders, overdue shipping. Could be something as simple as new employees in the shipping area.

I bought my first knife from NGK the other day, a Spyderco Native. I couldn't believe how fast it got to me. I ordered it off of there website on Sunday night and it arrived on Wednesday morning. I like how they give you a choice other then using UPS also, as I prefer using the USPS. I highly recommend them.

I've ordered from NGK twice so far, and now I'm regretting not ordering from them on my most recent purchase. I decided to buy from an ebay merchant to save a few dollars, and now after 2 weeks I haven't received the item or any response from the seller, autoparts44. I ordered a Sharpmaker with video for about $10 less than NGK sells them for, but I can say now that the $10 extra is more than made up for by the prompt shipping and excellent customer service...

john jensen, NGK, and knifesite.com are my favorites. knifesite.com tells you how many of each knife are in their inventory... comes in handy when you're trying to decide when exactly to buy a knife that may not be around too much longer...
I try to buy locally(in Canada) but I have ordered from SFO with great service and I have ordered two Striders from Blueline Gear and had great service there as well.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND JUST DECIDED TO EMAIL 10X A DAY AND I FINALLY GOT A RESPONSE AND MY KNIFE A FEW DAYS LATER. HE WORKED IT OUT. I THINK HE NEEDS AN ASSISTANT AS HE MAY JUST BE TO BUSY, IT WAS NOT THIS WAY IN THE PAST. #9

NGK is #1, but I've also had good dealings with knivesplus.com and knifeworks.com.
For about a year, though, the vast majority of my purchases have been from the local knife store, River's Edge in Columbus, Ohio. Great guys.

Microtech CE Kestrel for $99.95 ( when he had that sale ).
New Graham has a nice touch with that band aid dispenser they throw in
( you'll need them, says the dispenser :D )

Yes Steeldust,
New Graham (http://www.newgraham.com/index.html) is the place. Mike and Mary Beth are a joy to do business with. And, assuming you're in the USA, for discontinued models it's worth giving John Jensen's (http://www.johnfjensen.com/acatalog/catalog.php?category=%20%20Spyderco%20Knives) list a look, as a distributor, he only sells "retired" models and "older" versions of some current ones, but has some you hardly ever see anywhere else.

For online ordering, I've used Knifecenter a fair amount, with good success. After getting a couple of things seized earlier this year, I've been using Knifezone up here. Not necessarily the fastest or cheapest, but I can get just about anything. Pauline is a gem to deal with :D If I'm phoning for stock availability locally, Target and Cutting Edge are great to deal with.

My favorite dealers are gpknives.com and www.islandblades.com .
Another vote for Sawyers, (or razorsharpknife on ebay). Quick shipping and reasonable shipping costs, and I find it tough to beat their prices. It's too bad to hear that people are having trouble with flamesnknives, I've had several good deals with them in the past, but no transactions recently. Sounds like their customer service may have fell victim to increased business.

Never ordered from NGK yet, but it sounds like I'll have to give them a try!
Razorsharpknife on 3Bay has some good prices on Spydercos. I got my SOG Flash II from them and they were very quick, courteous and the price was very decent. I may order a Paramilitary from them sometime soon.

My favorite is the Spyderco specials page. Man! Some deals can be had. That is where I got my (two) Ronins (at that price, I couldn't resist!)
