You know when you have a percieved "hole" in your Spydie collection and it looks like it will never reach fruition? :(

For what must be years now, I have been looking for a number of models. including a C04 Executive PE and a C25GP. They just don't seem to turn up.

However, Ebay did it again! The first was the Executive. It's a SE and not a PE, but I can live with that! :) It was sold as used and that is an apt description! Don't know if I will attempt a refurb, but I have one! :cool:

The C25GP has also been as ellusive. I like G10, I like it a lot, but then the original C25's are even harder to find! Guess who came to the rescue? Ebay! Not the G10, but an original! :eek: OK, not PE but SE. Again, I can live with that :cool:

The best bit? Won both at a shade over 40 dollars each! That's 22 pounds! UK retail for a Cricket is almost double that! :eek:

Yep, beggers can't be choosers, but I can live with that!! :D :D

Congrats Simon! Nice to landing a couple bargains, nicer yet when they fill holes in your collection. Gives me hope for the ones that have been eluding me.

Oh Ken! You sure got that right! :D

There are a couple of current production models in the pipeline, but as for "elusive" ones, the C25GP still! But that is much further down the list now! Jot Singh Khalsa :cool: but again, this isn't going to be an easy search!!
