My wife and I went to a Gun and Knife show today that held some great surprises. I started out with my favorite knife dealer with whom I have worked with for over ten years, in fact I purchased my first :spyder: from him. Anyway, he had the new Spyker in his display case. Now I had decided not to purchase that one until the Blade show, but after holding that  :spyder: in my hot little hands, I had to own it. So I slipped him $140.00 and it was a done deal. As I walked away with a :) on my face, I went to see my secondary dealer, who does not really buy new Spyderco's anymore to see what he had. I sure was surprised to see a :spyder: I did not recognize. I discovered it was A civilian with a black rubber insert ( Kraton ?), but no box or zippered pouch. After checking to see what the regular price of current models, I went back for the kill. I slipped him $70.00 and it also was a done deal. I strolled away the the biggest :D . Also happy to remember that about a month ago I fould a :spyder: pouch with the original paperwork for a Civilian for only $3.00.

As if the day was not already  , on the way out I talked to another dealer I know and he bought on of my .32 cal handguns I wanted to sell. He gave me enough money to cover my new purchases with money to spare.

Again, I must say what a great knife day.

Had to share!!!

Congrats on a couple nice ones! And, as far as the Civie goes, AFAIK there never was a box, they come packed in a pouch.

Enjoy your new toys. The aluminium Civie with kraton inserts is a collectable and the SpyKer will be in the future ;)
