Some new spyderco's arrived today

Have not had a whole lot of time to play with the new knives that UPS delivered to me today but I am excited...The Ronin is awesome...the sheath I could live without and I took the tek-lock right off as there wasn't a single position that felt right or secure...A little bit of tied off leather strips into the sheath holes will work well enough for the belt for now till I can have something custom made up....My first Salsa CE came in...I like it..especially the cobra hood, The Manix PE...Wow!!!...It already bit me bad...caught my pinky finger just in passing while it laid open on the table...took sometime to stop the bleeding...feels great in the hand, what a hunk of knife...The Spyderfly... I tried working with it for a while...it's going to take a lot of getting use to....

LoL Daywalker, They all bite :eek: ...I just have to learn to keep my darn fingers away from the cuting edge, or not have 12 knives on the table (all open mind you) and grabbing like a crazy person, like a kid in a candy store, or a bull in a china shop etc...Doc

You might try this: put the Tek-lok on the sheath on the opposite side you normally would and carry it inside the belt, outside the pants, sort of sandwiched between them. It carries very well like this, comfortable and highly secure.

Just a thought...

Thanks Doc I tried that...but I carry to many other things on the belt for that to work...I'll just stick with my own concoction for now...Doc
