SS Rookie

Hello all,

I recently received a stainless Rookie se. I really love this knife but, it is very tough to open. I've put militec on it and have opened and closed it over and over. It has loosened up a bit. Any other suggestions to make it smoother opening would be greatly appreciated. Also had to include a pic of a new favorite. Now, if I could just find a pe with G10 handles. Thanks.

you might have to wash it..i think that i read that you can put in dishwasher..i would clean it by hand dry it out then re lubricate..about 2 weeks ago i got a g-10 se and it was stiff as a board..i didn't wash but i lubed the snot out of it and it is ok..where did you find yours?

Thanks Hardkiss. I got this one off of ebay. Last week was really good. I also picked up a Zowada pe, g10 Police pe and a Baby Horn pe at a gun & knife show.

where i am from there are no gun/knife shows to attend..i am jealous..i always read about how someone found something rare or collectable at these shows..how much do the ss rookies fetch..

There was a knife show about a month ago just north of Allentown. Surely there's a knife collector's club in the Philly area :confused:

not that i know of..but then again i wouldn't know how to find that out if there is one..
