First Chinook in Croatia?

Hi, guys, I got the Chinook 2 weeks ago, probably the first one BOUGHT in Croatia. Wonderful knife, a real tank. Very slight vertical blade play (as usual with lockbacks, Sal explained), otherwise really exciting knife.

Question: somewhere between the hole and the handle there there are numbers and a letter: 143V. Anybody knows what that means?

Spydreco labels the first 1000 of every knife they produce you have one of the first 200. the first 200 are said to be the most collectable.

As Gazza said, the first 200 numbers are usually reserved for collectors. The 'V' indicates that it is a 'variation' i.e. if the original collector's edition was serrated (they usually are) any variations, such as plain ege, have the 'V' after the number.

Noy sure if the V means serrated, but could be plain edge, mine is #37 serrated... Cograts on buying one sweet knife!!!
