Just wondering, do u guys only use the metal cusp on your attacker in the closed position or do you also use it like a proper "short stick" in that you hit with the bottom and top of the handle (like whackin the guy on the bridge of the nose with the base)



Just curious on wether the tops and bottom of this handle is hard enough to be used properly like this, or if that was never an imtention.

Another thing, anyone know where I can see a pic of the spyderedge gunting online?

well I use it like a tomahawk...I hit with the ramp..I assume I hope correctly that what you cal a cusp of meatl is the ramp..( where the hole is..)The handle by the way made out of G10 and dual steel liners. and itis certainly strong enough to hit with the head, the butt, the ramp or the horns when striking a BG..or an object....

matter of fact it knocks people out, makes their knees buckle if hit inside the arm..on elbow or on the ribs..hmm the jaw works well also,,

"Tomahawking" outward brings to "fist load" upon return..

So yes..just like a short stick...with really hard horns sticking out!

You're making same mistake I made.. I went "looking" for the SPYDER-edge, cause I really wanted one as well, only to be told very emphatically that it's not in existence..a Partially Serrated version exists..not a Spyder-edge per se...
The partially serrated Gunting is 50-50.. I believe...
Yes.. I know the catalog says Spyder-edge but its REALLY a partial Spyder-edge....

lol, thnx for the info Bram, found a website with you n ya Gunting, looks very interesting.
My babys waiting for me at the post office as we speak, cant wait to pick it up and have a good look.

Ill just wait to get my hands on the trainer that Pertinax is holding for me, and then Ill most likely buy another gunting and trainer!!! cause the 1s his got for me are collectors pieces,lol, I just cant win <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
