2001 Military changes?

Does anyone know exactly what changes the 2001 Military features, apart from the black lettering on the blade? Thanks,

Changes from 2000 -2001 are laser engraving as compared to diamond engraving (2000 and older) over all there has been 10 or more total changes since it's introduction in 1996.Some sutle some as major as the steel ats 34 was phased out early 99.

Thanks, but I am specifically interested in the technical differences between the new 2001 model and the second (?) generation or previous model. I'v heard rumors that the G10 has become 'grippier' and that the locking bar 'interface' has been improved. Can anyone confirm this, and care to explain a little more? Thanks,
