Just wanted to share some pics of my Waved Enduras. I really love them. They open with such a commanding THWACK!

Wow, that looks really cool.
May I ask what is the advantage of the wave? Is it function or just looks?
Thanks :)

great pics, my compliments!
The wave catches on the fabric of your pocket during the draw, the blade then opens. check out the emerson knives website for videos.

Yes, the great Musashi used to fight with two swords. A mighty pair you have sir.

Yes, I meant to carry one in each pocket, and switch the clip around on one, but I just don't want to touch them. I've done the "wave draw" a few times, but These babies are best left in the unused state. Whether or not they become collectors or not, they are works of art, and I'd rather take pictures and just gawk at them than actually use them.
P.S. These things came the sharpest out of all the other :spyder:'s I've encountered.

It's also been known to work quite well as a bottle opener! :) (though, I would never do that to these specimens)

:spyder: neat effect, switchblade fast (check with local ordinances!) when done correctly. I don't want to re-train my gross muscle motions vis-a-vis my knife draw so I don't use the design but it sure can be trained to be fast. :spyder:

Here's (http://www.emersonknives.com/Tact_index.html) where you can see the "WAVE" in action. (click on video vault)

I really hate being tempted!
Nice pics! Is there any source of them besides SDF? I've seen they charge quite a lot for shipping internationally... :(
Cheers, Rob

There is one on eBay doing $147.50 already. I prefer the shipping costs :) . Another example of the eBaymania that goes beyond me.

Very nice. Congratulations on a terrific looking pair.
$147? Even with the shipping fees from SDF it "only" costs $100! The only reason I can imagine for the price going that high is that SDF is out of stock at the moment and someone wants it real bad :)

I'm very sorry, but I don't think the knives have become better looking though. Maybe better but not nicer( but that's just mine opinion)

miyamotomusashi, whoa that's a backbreaker to type, can we call you sashi for short, nice photos, a good representation of the knive from both sides.
That Endura blade looks more mean in it's waved configuration. I don't know a lot of that disipline but now feel the need (?) to have one. I'm buying stuff like a raped ape here so we'll put it on a back burner.
Ya know, $150 on e-bay, he'll get it. A lot of people I'm betting haven't a clue where to go to get one so if they want it bad enough....

Great photos! Hope the beautifully done fine cut traction grooves on the thumb ramp eventually filter down to the normal Endura, Delica, and the rest of the lineup too.

Would this knife make a good general pourpous EDC? Would be good as a skinner?

I hope a lot of people are hearing that. That's a feature I wouldn't mind seeing either.

"MM", "Double M", "Moo", "Sashi", "Moto" I don't care, it's all the same. Call me dude if you want.
I agree about the "beautifully done fine cut traction grooves on the thumb ramp" being really awesome. They are actually much more precisely cut than on my Para-Millie for instance. I really love these :spyder:'s. Although I could justify the extra expense for G-10 handles for me.
I really hope there will be a "top of the line" version, i.e.-G-10, stainless liners, P.B. washers, abalone :spyder: inlay, Stainless clip, etc.
