Jester, forest green SE
Leatherman Squirt, red & Photon II, red

Gear thread! :)
The Ti CE Salsa has found it's way into my pocket again, that little rascal.
Whenever I think "That's such a cute knife!" it gets all businesslike and coolly performs like one of the bigger knifes without breaking a sweat.
Respect the Salsa! :D

Well right now its my PE caly jr. That knife is sooo light i dont notice it, and since all i am wearing now are those shiny athletic type shorts, I dont want anything heavy. My regular edc concists of my paramilie or my SE native, I am trying to scale back the use of the caly jr because i have otehr knives and it will probably be retired when i get a ZDP one.

Just my waved Endura at the moment. More for waving it than cutting with it although it does cut good as well. Probably have to buy a better pair of jeans though as it is starting to show on the pocket.

I like to mix it up. If I'm only carrying one it's either a Delica PE, Salt 1 SE, stainless Crickett SE or PE, Paramilitary PE or a stainless Rookie PE or SE or maybe one of the Dodo's. Usually if I have two knives on me its always one of the stainless Crickett's along with the Salt 1 , Delica or a C25 Centafante in PE. When dressed up it would be the almite Walker or Crickett. I just got a S30V SE Native and a stainless PE Dragonfly and think that might make a good carry combo. A maglight Solitaire is on the keychain. Apologize for the winded answer, just like the fact that Spyderco makes so many good ones and it is sometime hard for me to carry the same ones all the time. My answer will probably be a little different next time this question gets ask. Always like this these threads.

it started as a "spydies on notebooks" thread so who am I to break the pattern? :D
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/senate/tofs/knives/edc_july05.jpg
it's the current rotation but there are some more which see pocket time, the keyboard of my notebook was too small (:))....
UK penknife
Blue Chinese Lum
Cocobolo Kopa
Salt
Para-Millie
Jester SS
Almite Cricket
SS Cricket
SS Cricket
it's a rotation, I don't carry all these at the same time, it's usually a small one (cricket or kopa) with a medium one (UKPK/Lum/Para) during the week at work. Big ones (Manix/Chinook) are for week-ends only...

What's that little tiny long thing to the right of the Jester?
Thanks :)
DavidIt's a double ended - phillips and slotted head - micro screwdriver for eyeglasses. Chad thought it might be useful to me. He was right, and since they're about the only screws I ever have to deal with anymore, a perfect item to keep handy on my key ring.

Wouter..what a great thread you have started! My EDC is usually a Native III
in PE vg10 or If I am going for a late after hours walk...in addition I will take my
Manix in PE along with a Surefire M3 225 lumen CB head (one with teeth) and
finally, a Surefire G-2 sand with a 1 Watt Red led head.
Hey guys I notice a lot of SE blades I have yet to own one. Actually my girlfriend
has asked me to get her a knife that she could keep in her car strickly for seat
belt/bag E&E if ever in another accident. She said neither too small nor two big or
two pointy. She loves the grip choi of my native, but I am concerned that it might if fact be too pointy for her...oh yes, likes the pretty yellow ones.
Any thoughts..Atlantic full SE maybe.....? William
I like the pafacic pe myself..yellow also...the more colors the better :D

I like the pafacic pe myself..yellow also...the more colors the better :DWell aside from the fact that a young lady might consider both the Atlantic and Pacific a bit large, either of them in SE with the yellow handles would do fine. So you might want to take a look at the yellow SE version of the Salt I. Like the Pacific, the tip is rounded enough not to be "too pointy", but the size, while still large enough to be very useful, might be less intimidating to her.

Why not the Assist or orange Rescue? They are designed just for that.
I have yet to get one, but tend towards the Assist with glassbreaker and whistle.

YEs I am currently carry 2 of the older discontinued models: Those being the C-44P&S Dyad and the C-46 Bob Lum Tanto. I also carry a Benchmade model 640s. I will replace that with a Spyderco when I determine which one will do everything that it will do.
I guess I am stuck in the 1999-2002 era. IT was a great era indeed for the Great Spyder Factory. ;) :spyder:

There are just too many great Spyderco knives out there.
I have found that my current EDC is the Yojimbo, because the size is acceptable in most situations, but...
I do keep in my bag which is neer too far away both my new Para-military and PE trailing point lil temperance.
Attached to my keyring , I also have a Photon micro light and a Swiss-tech utili-key.
If it were possible, I would wear a dutybelt with @ three more knives (atr, calypso jr, military) attached, but some people might think I was strange...
Michael
my current EDC is a Victorinox Soldier in the left pocket with my wallet and I've been rotating between a PE Endura, Camillus Heat and large Sebenza clipped to the right (it's been the Endura most days, the Heat every now and then and the Sebbie is pretty rare since I don't like the clip).
