I am trying to thin out the handles a bit, so here is what it looks like apart
washers are not PB, and I appreciate how the lock "self cleans" by pushing aside any dirt. Knife is very smooth, but I wonder if PB washers are available?

I guess you voided your warranty.

you could get a few PB wahsers made at any local machine shop for cheap.

I don't think disassembly itself avoid your warranty, just damage caused by assembly. I've never seen an internal steel liner before thanks for sharing. Hope it all comes together smoothly.

Thanks for sharing the picture Gabo, alway informative to know what they look like on the inside. Not surprised about the washers, the change to PB is pretty recent, doubt any Little Temps had them. My only concern about dirt with liner or nested compression locks is that it may get jammed between the lockbar and the scale and prevent closure, rather than preventing lockup.

No the little stabilizer bars along the body of the knife hold it in/

Thank's 'gabo' for the pic, I find it usefull, allthough I have no intention of disassembling any of my knive's.

I did inadvertantly disassemble my UKPK and got it back together again just fine, so I know that if I just applied a bit of care and patience and the correct tool's it should'nt be a problem, maybe one day when I feel inclined.
