My first spydie should have been the Chinook II. Instead the Native PE has become my first.
Because I got tired of the waiting for the Chinook to arrive I ordered a Native a few days ago..and this time no delays. The Native is an awesome knife. Sharpest right out of the box of all my knives. No bladeplay and very smooth action :D
Can't stop opening and closing it!!!
In inquiry is going on on the whereabouts of my first ordered Spyder (the Chinook II) as it should have arrived abroad a few days ago.
I hope the Chinook II is coming soon. After tasting the Native I can't wait to get my hands on the larger Chinook.
I hope the attached pic is decent quality (first attempt!)

I know exactly what you mean by the title. I spend a lot of time on the phone in my business and I am constantly getting people asking me what that noise is. It is me just playing with one of my knives and most of the time it is a Spyderco. I really go crazy with my Cold Steel "Arc Angel" butterfly knife. My current "toy of the hour" is my C-46 Bob Lum Tanto Folder, black blade, CE, ATS-55. It is a knife near to my heart's desire. It is totally normal to be obsessed with knife works. Just ask our "in house" counselor Doctor Hannibal K Lecter. :D

not as much talk about the chinook on the forums lately... but what a great knife... amazing for MBC and SD, and also a great knife for hard use outdoors! it's one of those spydies that really can do it all!

Welcome to the forum Crafft, bummer you have to wait so long for the Chinook. It is worth a little waiting, awesome knife it is. Enjoy your Native. Its one of those knifes that, once in your pocket, wants to live there for ever. As for, can't stop opening and closing it, its epidemic here. Jimmy Dean had a rather funny thread about that a little while ago. Nice pic Btw.

Something about a toilet as far as I remember :D (there we go again)
The Native. Wanted to buy me one in Septembre, but due to PC problems I can't spend the money.
About the pic: very nice, sharp too (hehe). But you may want to adjust your lighting in the future, as to minimize shadows (unless you want an effect of some sort ;) ).

Welcome to the Forum! Have you guys noticed there's a growing "European Connection " on the forum? Hmmm maybe they wan't to take over? OK, now that you have conquered the States and Europe , it's time to look at the Far East. Gentleman saddle your horses! Up to the Far East. :)
I guess we can use my place as a safehouse! :D
