I was hoping somebody could give me a rundown of the basic steels in spyderco's knives and what their advantages and disadvatages are. I have looked through spyderco's charts but that doesn't help me much. Thanks.

i agree with thorin hammer joe has a wonderfull run down of diffent steels in a practical eazy to understand way.
