WTC Knife $225 I would have been hard pressed to put that kind of money out were it not for a good cause.
There have been others I was interested in, but just didn't have the funds at the time. So this one retains the title for now.

This one is the most expensive knife left in my collection. It's Scott Cook's first one made with damascus. It's marked 001. It won the 2003 Tac Folder award. Came with the plaque.

The most expensive knife I ever purchased was a custom sub-hilt fighter that I designed made by the now deceased Harold Corby...double egde...6 inch blade, burgundy micarta handles with engraved nickle silver hilt guard...Cost $750.00 and I waited two years for him to make it...he threw in a custom leather sheath with an internal lock...sweet, and a shoulder holster to boot...was so happy with it I order the same knife in a 5 inch blade for my left hand...only took him a year to make that one...Doc :D

i've never paid much more than $100 for a knife.
however, i've often gotten much more "expensive" and "valueable" knives for criminally low prices... :D

This is the single most expensive knife I own, though I've spent more all together on my Spydercos than any other make of knife. I got this A.G. Russell American Trapper, blades by Cattaraugus from another collector. A.G. Russell still has some available and they sell for $175. Mine is number #197.

Wow - that is a beauty
My most expensive are a Larry Chew Covert and a Dusty Moulton Shasta - Ivory handle with schrimshawed ducks paid $650 each. Thats a lot for me and I probably won't ever go that high again. Unless someone is foolish enough to offer one of Neil's folders for that price :D

at the moment, it's still my Strider Spaniard at 475$
I overspent a little lately so it's going to be a while before I can afford something big again.

$100 on a NIB fully serrated military, then it got stolen, since then, $50 on a PE military used... then I spent $55 on 2 crickets and the guy threw a nice nib buck 442, then I got a 50/50 endura for $35....
I can't spend more than a $100 on a knife... I hate buying NIB knives too, I'm having a hard time using the endura because it's so pretty....
I'll probably splurge on something in a few years...

My most expensive knife purchase was for Dialex's fixed blade design. I believe that I am still the only person, besides Dialex, to own this design.
I got it through Ceya (Ceya Knife Designs), with the actual manufacturing being done by DMKnives. CPM-S30V/black micarta handles/kydex sheath with 3 clips for optional carry methods.

$100 manix. vincent i hear you--family thinks $20+ for a knife is a waste. same with flashlights, and i have some surefires...
for me, 150+ is too much for a knife. dont plan on ever getting a sebenza, etc.
