i love the ease that liner locks can close one handed are compression locks about the same, but with the thumb on the lock or is it more line a lock back?

Hi FTK. There is a short learning curve, but I find it about the same.

I would like to move the Mil to a compression lock and in the next year. We do have many irons in the fire and we are just a small company.

Hi Sal,

How will moving to a compression lock affect the weight of the Military? I was wondering particularly about the proposed "Mil Jr" (Paramilitary?), and whether it would weigh less than 4oz? (I like the design of Lil' Temperance but it is rather hefty for its size at 4.5oz)

i didn't meen to sound pushy on the production, i just read posts suggesting it might be coming out that way this year and i figured i would make that my first compression lock if it was, but i do love the ease of the liner locks and the way they keep clean so i'll have two militaries one liner and one compression (maybe i'll convert the one with a compression lock to titaium handles, i really like the titaum handls, if that isn't to hard)thanks.

i just read the your (sal's) topic on the various types of locks and it seems there are many fans of the compression i'm defiantly intrested.

It is easy to learn. You'll love it. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> I've played with a few, and after the 3rd or 4th time you pick it up. "Lock on top", "Lock on top" <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
