Today when I picked up my Caly Jr. ZDP I also handled the ATR Black Titanium Nitride Coated and R2 SE...Just some on my handling impressions.
First the ATR, though Handsome to look at felt clunky (for lack of a better word) in my small hands, Nice blade shape and the cobra hood added a special measure of felt control for the grip...For me...The feel of the handle design was dissapointing (reference to it's clunkyness)...therefore I'll pass on this one.
The R2 SE was a totally different story...it's fit, looks and function where superb, The Lazar cut handles with the Almite finish...Striking!... Finger serrated grooves in the choil and thumb rest were very comfortable... in my hands it had a super feel of blade control, If the model I saw today was PE I would have snatched it up...but I can't stop thinking about it...so I'll prob go back tomorrow and get it in the SE version I saw and then search one out in PE later on...Doc :D
