:spyder: With what knife do you most often play around? For one handed opening and closing I LOoove the stretch, it's so smooth and rewarding. (click) it's open, switch to Janich's sabre grip, switch to lock release posture, drop blade, switch to closing grip (clack) closed. Repeat ad infinitum! Cheap fun if a bit compulsive :) (can't seem to stop!) :spyder:

For one handed opening and playing around I prefer my Viele 1.
For non handed opening nothing beats my Waved Endura however.

Delica.

Good or Bad.......I spyderdrop it.

:)

I do however like the Lil' Temp too. I find it easy to play around with and It's still my favorite "higher dollar" knife.

I'll drop my ss cricket open 95% of the time... just pinch and snap as it clears the pocket.

I play with them all. But the SS ATR has the smothest action. I can have that thing "at the ready" in an instant. The name truly fits.
I spyderdrop allof them

Camillius 5.5" Cuda Maxx in D2 and titanium scales modified for tip-up carry using a finger ring extension. The built in flipper guards act as a WAVE device during withdrawal in tip-up front pocket carry.

My Military opens nicely one-handed using a spyderhole-nested stainless clamp-on thumbstud. Just not as impressive as the Maxx.

The Dodo flicks open quickly after removal of one of the two ball lock springs. This also allows for an easier one hand closing with the fingertips ala AXIS lock style.

i love the one handed opening of the wtc knife. a flick of your wrist and it's open. and the opening is so smooth. i'm sure other ball bearing lock knives are similar.

Love the Stretch too Michael, plus it's normally within reach, so it gets played with a lot. But, for the past few days, have been playing mostly with the R2. Equally smooth, if somewhat heavier, action.

I too play with them all...but find myself playing with my SS Jester and Ladybug most often...like while watching TV waiting in Doctor's Offices etc etc. I hold the hole in a pinch grip with thumb and fore finger and push the handle down inside my palm with my middle finger to open.... over and over and over again....just playing...Doc :D

Aloha Michael,

Has got to be my Persian right now. I thank God my hands are small enough to grip this knife in every grip.

Been playing with my Escalator drone a bit, but I do not have it "wired" like my Persian...

Yet. ;)

God bless

I play with all of them. BTW, my 9 year old son can spyderdrop his Jester. I don't know how he does it. I can't...

I'd have to vote for my S.S ATR with the R2 being second. Lots O Satisfaction.

Here recently I find myself playing with my Spyderhawk PE & the Massad Ayoob. These are 2 Spyders I always keep here in my office. Although I do use a "Q" knife to open letters with and do menial cutting chores.

The Spyderhawk has a SNAP!! all it's own and the Ayoob is a difficult one to get the hang of but it is very slick when you do. However I am not confined to these 2, they just happen to be handy at the present moment. NOW I am playing with my newest JD Smith more & more as I love to give my new EDCs a proper initiation. Thanks Doctor Lecter!!! ;) :spyder:

For me, it's my FRN Delica - mostly because it's used the most :D My Dragonfly gets a fair amount of "play" time as well when I'm "pondering" :)

my delica and pacific salt get the most "play time" being that i use them for work and mundane chores more so than my other knives. as far as playing with a knife when not working, i love the feel of the dodo, it is smooth and easy to use. also play around with the para a lot. i'm a big fan of compression locks
