Did not like the Poliwog when it first appeared all those month's back, but slowly it began to grow on me, now I've finally got one and I must say Eric really does have a gift when it comes to design and function, the way this thing sit's in the hand is too good to be true. It is also exquisitely compact and open's and closes easily with one hand, I have'nt used it yet but when you deploy the blade you feel like you have a serious amount of cutting power, that probably come's from the expierience of using knives like the L'il Temp and Salsa. I like it a lot.
My other new arrival is a black ATR, many thank's again to NGK for sending these two out to me,they are as most of you know an excellent retailer and thier sevice is top notch, I reccomend them to anybody who has not yet used them.
All I can say is now I have the ATR.. I should have got one sooner and I should have got the Ti model, previously there was alway's something that put me off getting the ATR, allthough for me it is the model that is unmistakably a Spyderco. As soon as I saw it in black I knew I could resist it no longer an I'm sure it's gonna be put to use somewhere down the line, I'll be happy with what I've got for now as regard's the Ti model but I can see how it would in my opinion be worth the extra, I can only echo what's been said already to anyone still undecided and that is get the Ti ATR if you can.
A happy Spydie owner ;) .
