Here are some of my pics of the modified Delica I got today. Someone did a really good job at cutting her down and refinishing her back up! I think I really like her - kind of like a smaller Salt 1. Very handy and functional. :D

Whoever did it did a nice neat job. Whether the motivation was to salvage an otherwise usable knife with a damaged tip, or just to get the "feel" of a Salt with a knife they already had, they succeeded in producing something that will give you good service.

Yes Deacon - someone put some time into this one. :)

When I first saw it I thought it was a mislabled Salt - but then I saw that the handel says Delica and of course that it was smaller.. I called Spyderco and asked if they did such "fixes" to blades and they said no - interesting enough this one did come from CO!

But I really like her and find her to be quite functional. VG 10 steel and sharp. Perhpas Spyderco will pick up on this for a new version - kind of like a "Delica Spur" or a "Mini Me" Salt !! :D :spyder: :D
