I guess this is mostly for those of us that live in the US.



Though it is not perfect, (and what is?), America is a really great place to live. It is still the best of the "lands of opportunity".



It probably wouldn't hurt you, your day or your attitude to look about you and take a few minutes to appreciate.



We at Spyderco wish all of you a pleasant 4th.

Amen. Many people take the liberties that are rights of American citizens for granted, but once you sit back and realize how fortunate we really are, it's amazing.

Some people complain about not being able to carry a 4" blade, but look at England and Australia. There, even keychain knives are illegal unless they are used for work.

Today, let the veterans and defenders of our liberties know how much you appreciate them. Always remember, not everyone is as fortunate as Americans are. Take nothing for granted, as our liberties were paid for in the blood of patriots.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.
