In about a month and a half my parents are going to have their wedding anniversary. I was looking through the spyderco catalog and thought it would be pretty cool if my brother and I got them a ss knife and had it engraved. I was thinking about using the CoPilot and was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions.

What are their hobbies/interests? The Santoko K08 is a superb kitchen knife and has lots of room for engraving.

I was actually thinking of a display piece.

Might I suggest the stainless Dragonfly rather than the CoPilot. IMNSHO it is a much more elegant design and looks much nicer closed as the choil covers the corner of the blade. From personal experience I can say that it looks very smart with engraving <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>.

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow, in Australia it's tomorrow already.

I would agree with Clay's assessment of the appearance of the Dragonfly vs. the Co-Pilot. However, I'd suggest that the SS Calypso Jr looks even better than the Dragonfly.

If size isn't terribly important, and a mild play upon words might be significant, and I'm assuming this isn't the 10th anniversary, but a somewhat higher #, then I think the best choice would be the Endura II. I think it's design is more elegant than any other's. For sure, I'd get the plain edge. It's almost too bad there isn't a combo blade, for the symbolism of half and half.

Wish I'd been into knive for my folk's 50th. I think that's what I'd have gotten them.

As far as &quot;smart&quot; goes, the most beutiful piece Ive seen as a whole would be the Viele, with that sexy black mitarca on that ss, I dont know how much room you would have for engraving, but I reckon this is a real smart looking piece.

They all beutiful, what can I say?

Hi&#180;Marauder
What about getting the ss Delica, it&#180;s allround sized and very gentlike in design.
