What is it about Taco Bell? Nearly everytime I go these days, I'm regretting it to some extent (indigestion ... etc), but give me a couple of months ... and I go back.

You'd think I would learn after years of eating their food. As ridiculous as this may sound, it sort of sounds good right now. See ... :D , it's been about 6 weeks since I've been there.

Sheesh .... guess I'll never learn. :confused:

I love White Castle, in fact I used to go to one in the worst neighborhood in Brooklyn just to get them, it was so bad and dangerous we christened it "White Hassle" :D Seriously, you are right about them comming out, maybe why so many of them are consumed when you are blind dog drunk! :o

You know, I've come to the conclusion that the reason that there's such a proliferation of fast-food restaurants in North America (and we're exporting them to Europe), besides the fact that they're just plain easier than cooking, is that nothing tastes as good and is as satisfying as fat and salt. Really! Give a person a choice of a nicely herbed garden salad and a hamburger. What will 90% of the people choose? :)

It's the grease and salt. I'm sure of it!

while i was in the marines taco bell was my friend any one here know just how much food 20$ used to get you at the bell in 98
good thing we ran just about every day between 3 and 5 miles i would have been a fatty in no time :)

We have Krystal's around these parts, but they are still VERY WICKED! :eek:

Taco bell is one of my avoidables, but it does taste sooo good!

I had them when i was in Atlanta in 97 and 99. They are a white catle knockoff i guess, White castle cooks the burgers ontop of the onions i guess, and kustals does not. they also use mustard standard. Must be a german place.

Don't know about that but I've recently discovered the #1 Value Meal at Burger King. A little piece of heaven floating on a bun.

i love the Bacon burger at a local chain of pizzerias The Pizza Factory but 30 minutes later im in the crapper but there sooo gooood :D :eek: :D :eek:

No, but I know how much a buck could get you in '68 - 5 cheeseburgers for $1 at Jack-in-the-Box. It kept me from being a starving university student :D

The closest thing we have in this lil town to fast food is a Dairy Queen. They do a passable good Ultimate Burger which I had for lunch today. I never pass up a chance whenever we go north or south to stop at Wendy's. I really do like their $0.99 menu. I get a chili, a side salad and a frosty and I'm good til supper. My wife isn't quite as fulfilled with her chicken strips and caesar salad. Another one I can't pass up is El Pollo Loco, love the flour tortillas and salsa bar.

I have a hard time even eating fast food without gagging. The only place I can really stand is Arby's. Every other place, I swear I can just taste the chemicals.
