I have some cash put away for this one.
I know Sal said about a month on delivery but could we get some idea of who is going to be selling them and the MSRP.

I'm in the same boat, so to speak. Money set aside and waiting, waiting, waiting.

Yes, every time I see one of those carbon fiber Civlians, it reminds me not to let this one get away! ;)

The only thing that would keep me from buying it would be if it was made with that thick, flat, sharp, glassy, crackly, slick, heavy stuff that only slightly resembles what makes carbon fiber so good.

That kind of stuff is only suitable for display pieces. My hopes are for a very good knife that wears well over time and gets even better with practical use.

The CF is peel-ply, grippy, not shiny. Some may not like it for that reason. It is not the same as the Shiny CF pieces we've done in the past.

Good idea Sal, it could be an improvement over G-10. What's the matrix material from? Is it a thermohardening material like epoxy? Any ideas with aramid fibre composit materials?

I am glad to see Spyderco finally produce a carbon fiber piece that isn't cut/finished with a water jet process. A matte CF is fine but even a wheel-polished CF is much more durable than the water cut CF.

I have tried Google search peel ply CF and did not get anything with a pic of what it looks like.
Sal if you can't show the knife yet can you post a link or pic of what the CF looks like?

It looks like dark green G-10.

Our earlier CF Walker was made from Sauber CF.

Greetings Spydy people,

sound good anybody have a pic of this knife, cant find one on google.

Here's the old Walker with the last CF Police. Although the Carbon Fiber patterns are different, the Walker still has a relatively smooth surface, not exactly what I'd call "grippy".

For the Europeans like us it will not be easy... :( :( :(

I have tried to contact an important American dealer, but perhaps he will not have the CF Military. Now I'm waiting for a final answer.
