Sal and Co.
Can we expect any new releases coming up soon?

Hi Matt. The Lil' Temperance is just "dribbling" out very soon. It is a low production specialized piece and will probably take a while to really hit the streets, with collectors and all.
Most of our new releases are planned for 2002.
I think the next one out is the blue/gray variation of the Chinese Folder. It is not really anew model though. We don't know where that one is going. Demand will determine.
The Bob Lum Designed "Tanto" Fixed blade(Lumto?) is scheduled for early fall.
The "MeerKat" is also scheduled for early fall. (The MeerKat is a "Navigator" pattern done in FRN scales with a fun "Phantom" lock).
The Tim Zowada and Shabaria designs are back in production with dual steel liners and arc ramps.
I guess the next for the late fall would be the Fred Perrin Fixed blade Bowie design.

Thanks for the info Sal. Have the specs of the "MeerKat" been finalized?

Hey Mundele this is what it says on the letter that the collectors got.
C64 Meerkat- the meerkat is a new model featuring our new phantom lock. It is approximatly 5.3" overall and will have a black FRN handle with finger indentations. the main collector piece will be the plainedge. We expect to make an "S" shape blade style as a variation sometime next year. As far as the new phantom lock, I'm not going to give away the secret just yet...
Hope this helps answer some questions.

I recently had the opportunity to see the Meerkat "phantom" lock demonstrated. It blew my mind.
I don't know how strong it is, but the entertanment value was high and will be a must own for gadget hounds.
One way or the other, you pay for your tools!
