Dear Sal or Joyce ;

I read in the forum

about how to use the polishing brush

on the Dermel tool to take scratches

off one's spydie. I just use the one

spydie ( my Cricket ) and can't see going

through the expense of acquiring a Dremel tool. Do you folks at the factory do this ? If so, how much would it be, and, where ( or to who(m)'S

attention ) would I send it ( my Cricket )

? I understand I can send in my

Cricket for a complimentary sharpening.

Thank you BOTH in advance for any

consideration given this matter.

Sincerely,

Allen E. Treat

Hi Allen. I think you'd be best to contact Mike at Warantee & Repair. I believe we can get effective results. Even if there is a fee, it will be cheaper than the purchase of the tool + the learning curve.

OTOH, it is a great tool to have and play with regardless of how you handle the knife.

Hi Allen, Sal has a good point about the Dremel tool. They are sooooo darned handy to have for small
precice jobs for the average guy it isn't funny. Besides, they are a kick to play with. I bought one then
learned how to use it on my junk shop knives then did a whale of a job on one of my better knives.
Plus I had a lot of fun doing it. My wife kinda wondered if I bought it just for "my knives" 'till I did
a couple of jobs for her. Now she uses it. Have fun with your Dremel. They really are great to have
around. Enjoy!
