July 7-29 the world's most difficult sporting event is taking place, The Tour de France. He won it in '99 and '00, now he is going for it in 01'. He is a very proud Texan. He is a survivor of terminal testicular cancer that spread into his lungs and brain. Most of you should know that this is Lance Armstrong. I really don't know why i decided to do this post other than that I think very few Americans appreciate him and the sport. Feel free to flame me. Just try and watch some of the tour on Outdoor Life Network, and see if you can appreciate their hard work.

I've heard of this young man and his personal triumph over cancer. He really is quite remarkable. I
don't know if winning the "Tour" again means that much now because he really has won the most
important race of all....the race for his life. Writing about him here offers all of us a chance to cheer
him on in his effort to score yet another victory. Yes, a knife would be nice but a really long post
here along with following the race might "help" him get the 100% he needs to win.

Talk about a man that deserves respect. Battles for his life against widespread cancer, then is back in professional racing at the top of his game.
Some ball players act as if adversity is getting by on only $4 million a year, but Mr. Armstrong has really survived the hardest battle of his life, and survived to fight again.
May his success on the racetrack be commensurate with his herculenean stuggles to get there.
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.
