Persian vs. Mini Manix for self defense?

What are your opinions about these two heavy-duty spydercos? What are the merits of each regarding self-defense/MBC applications?

Am probably not the best person to anwer this, but the pros for the 80mm Manix would be the thicker blade, larger thumb hole, four way mountable clip, and grippy G-10 handles. Pros for the Persian would be longer blade and better blade shape for "hooking" an opponents arm.

I really can't answer this very well, but the "wack" the 80mm Manix blade made when it locks into place SHOULD scare a would be attacker :).

:spyder: The baby manix offers more metal to contact with for opening. G-10 is also much less slippery han the smooth flawless micarta and stainless. I love the persian but the Lil' manix looks to be much more combat stable in an emergency when the adrenelin dump makes your hands clumsy. :spyder:
