Salman,
This is a privately owned forum on a privately owned site. You have your right to your point of view, but DO NOT use this forum as your own personal method to fight what you consider wrong. I will not give my opinion as it does not matter. What does matter is this forum and it's purpose.
Sal is out of town and will NOT be on the forums for the next several weeks. If you would like to contact him directly I suggest you contact our offices and do so in a honorable manner.
If you are a person of honor and integrity, contact us to discuss your issues directly with us.
By the way, it's interesting who your IP address matches up with. I hope when you contact us, you'll use your real name.
As for everyone else, we've been here before. PLEASE use your ignore feature. If you choose not to, please DO NOT POST in his threads.
Indifference is our strongest weapon, these are Sal's words. They are also very wise words.

kristi I think its time to do what you and me talked about. Making either a limit on posting new threads untill a person posts a certain number of posts in threads. I say 15 posts. or having a Full out admin approval on new members,
I am up for both.
need any help please feel free to ask.
Thank you for a great job kristi.

Vincent,
Thank you for your offer to help. For obvious reasons (& spam), all new members will have to be approved by me, prior to being able to post. I hated to do it, but I hate it more to see the forum and it's valued members abused.
Thanks to all members (and patient new members) for understanding.
Kristi
Kristi, YOU ARE THE BEST!! Thanks!

Thank you Kristi. It was starting to get out of hand.
Can you tell us the user's ident, or at least if it is a disgruntled past forumite as a few had suggested in that thread?

I'm sorry, I can't tell you who it was. I can only say, that I do know.

TazKristi,
Very nicely handled and it seems you have a high proportion of very desireable personality traits (for lack of a better way to put it). The organization I work for (oil company) could use people of your class. You are very much a credit to the Spyderco company, my wife and I have always wanted to visit Colarado and do some mountain cycling and hiking there. May have to plan a trip and a visit to the :spyder: homeland.
Listen for the golf clap just a little north of you :D .
Please enlighten me as I am coming back to these forums.
Seems like things changed and I see we have a new MOD also.

Kristi your right, I will try not to get drawn in, as this tends to be my weakness when I get pissed off at personal attacks on esteemed members. I will do my best in the future. It does not matter who it was that started all this nonsense, it matters how we react to it!

Kristi, sounds like a good idea, you won't get an arguement here. I'm too old to be wound up when I come here to relax. Thanks.

Very professionaly handled.
It is a hard task running a forum, I have or am a mod on 4 different ones,
and the way you run this one is among the best, Kristi.
Thank you.
Thanks Kristi,well done!
This is a knife forum . Not a political one.
Glad you know who you're dealing with .
You handled it perfectly.
All the best,regards,Rick. :spyder:

Dear Friends,
As for everyone else, we've been here before. PLEASE use your ignore feature. If you choose not to, please DO NOT POST in his threads.
Indifference is our strongest weapon, these are Sal's words. They are also very wise words.
This is the only way to deal with this sort of problem; nothing else even marginally works. Turn our backs and refuse to respond.
The individual trolling wants a reaction - when we refuse to give them one it ruins their fun and they will go elsewhere.

I have not been on this forum since Friday so I missed this one(as far as I missed something :( )
I love visiting this form to share my entousiasm about knives, providing info (when I can), learning and getting rid of my money(LOL :D )
I don't like reading people bashing each other or use inappropriate language and this way destroying the fine atmosphere of this forum.
This is a great place to be and we all should try to keep it that way.
Good work Taz.
