I am going to my local Army Navy store tomroow to look for my new Spyderco. I have a Delica with the nylon handle. I work part time in a resteruant and my knife gets wet. The nylon is always sticky so I don't hurt myself. The bad part about nylon is the sticky grip scratches the back of my hand when I reach into the pocket my Delica is clipped to. I thought about the SS version but wonder if that will be to slippery. Maybe the G-10 will be sticky yet unpainfull??? Please help folks. Thanx.

Definetly go with the G-10. I got a Harpy with G-10 no slippage when wet( I use it when fishing) plus it shouldn't hurt cause the material is smoother than the FRN.

Hi Toolin. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. That "sticky" handle doesn't sound right. Nebver heard of an FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) geting sticky. You might want to shoot it so us for a look/see?

All in all G10 is one of the best handle materials, but expensive.

No no, it's FRN. It feels sticky to my skin because it holds on to it. BTW, I ended up buying a SS Endura plain blade. I know it is slippery but I will just have to use the Delica at work. Thanx guys.
