Got my First Spyderco today, i love it. I got the Manix, its HUGE, its like a a TANK. I will post some pics soon, first i gotta decide what should i sink it into first. :)

I have the 80mm Manix and I love it. It is also built like a tank!! Beware, it won't be your last Spyderco. Just ask anyone here :). Welcome to the forums. Can you post pics?

Welcome to the forums, and congrats on your first Spydie! If you like the Manix, you ought to try the Military or Paramilitary as well.

thanks, i what made me get the manix is the great things i have heard about how thought it is. every other folder i have looked at cant take the toughness, that manix can. :)

I personally like the picture of the Spyderco box open on the floor. :D

Reminds me of the floor right inside my front door, where new knife boxes get thrown in my rush to get them out of the box. Sure I pick them up later, but not until I've fondled the new knife enough to satisfy me temporarily.

YAh i love swamp rat knives. :) but the manix sold me. i think a found a love of equal value
