I think I now have a G10 Rookie

Just won this. Have to fight to get it so it cost me a bit more than I would have liked - and it happened before my fender bender that I just had #@%$@!! :mad:

Regardless, I believe this is a G10 Rookie. It was not marked as such and the box must be wrong because it says Zytel?.. :confused:

But I think I will like the size and I know I like the G10. Anyone else have one of these? What do you think of it?

Definitely a G10 Rookie packed in the wrong box. My "guess" is the box belongs to one of the Sakai, Moki, or Hiro knives Spyderco distributed. Definitely worth what you paid for it. There are those who think it the cream of the 3" blade Spydie crop.

The knive is a C51-Rookie, but the box is wrong! You are right.

BTW: I hope to hold sometimes in my hand a C11-Delica G10 :o

Oh man...congrats on that score!!! I recall wanting to get one when I made it into Corrections...you know, being a Rookie and all...then once I passed probation, I figured to get the G10 police...

However...uh, it didn't work out as I planned. :( They both got sold during my Training. :(

Well I do not know about FRN for the Rookie.... But I do know that I have developed a real fondness for the G10. I even like it better than the carbon filler that so many seem to search out. :D

FRN would hopefully make it less expensivee .....
