Guys, I Have a Confession to make...

I have been saying ever since I joined these forums how much I do not care for the Delica. Yesterday, on my way home I stopped by a Army Surplus store that has some Spyderco's in stock. I have handled the Delica before, but I guess I had not really paid enough attention to it. I did finally give it some time and now I have to say,WOW, I can see why it is one of Spyderco's most popular models. I cannot believe how much blade is tucked into that small of a handle. It is comfortable to hold and fits in the pocket very nicely!! I will not bad mouth the Delica again. And as soon as I can, I will be buying one.

Sometimes I think about how all I really need is a Delica (or sub in another low cost Spydie) and no other knife. I am not a collector, but I like variation, so I don't think I could just own a Delica, even though I'm sure I'd be fine. :)

Funny you bring this up. After someone's praise about their Delica, I decided to carry it today. Wow, do I miss this little baby. Sometime I get wrapped up in my S30v with G10 scales, that I forget the classics. :rolleyes:

A FRN Delica CE was my first Spyderco and it is responsible for the other 3 dozen I now have. Even though I EDC a blue G-10 Native, I carry the Delica occasionally just to remind me what started the obsession :D

You just can't beat that little big knife ;) :D

It's not that I don't like my other :spyder: :spyder: , but I think that if you only NEED one knife, it's the Delica.

When you carry and use it, you'll know ;)
