View Full Version : SpydeRench Question - How do you keep it closed?

I have had my T01 for over a year. I use it often enough and it always bugged me that when I went to close it up most of the time it would not stay closed.

It seems to have something to do with the orientation of the long bit that lays across the stored bits. But I can't figure it out. Usually I end up throwing it back in my bag without it being closed.

What am I doing wrong?

The flat screwdriver bit faces the spring and the flat side of the file lies next to the hex bits.
Mine fits and locks like a charm.

That's got it Yog! Thanks for the help. I don't know why I was having so much trouble with it.

I had the same problem when I suprised the guy at the <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> booth, at the last Blade Show, by completely disassembling and reasembleing it.

It's an amazing tool. Very innovative: maybe one of Spyderco's most 'exotic' designs.

Samo,

Thanks for the mention!! SFO has them (only five left from the bunch I sent last month) and they are fitted with TekLoks for wear with different belt sizes. Looks like a breakfront, but pulls out the top.

Brian,

I'll try to send you a picture.
