Would the powers that be, consider fitting a smaller clip on the smaller knives?
ie Calypso Jr, Delica, Salt1, Native... the flat type!
Some are downsized now, take the wire clip types as in, Dodo, Ti Salsa.
Right now, it's one size fits all. These flat clips are fine for larger knives as in Military, Manix, etc, but the smaller ones need to be more hand frendly.
The clips on these knives bite into my hand. I have been forced in some cases to fab a new, smaller one.
I guess this is not a really big deal, for most, but hay, I can ask.

good point Gullwing....a tad smaller clip (like the one on the Meerkat?) on some of those models might improve the gripping ergos...

I think the larger ones work well for more people overall, that's why they have them. A shorter clip means harder to get out of the pocket for most people. And I find the clips to not cause any problems in hand.
I'd be happy with new clips as additions. A selection of clips would be nice, and it sounds like Sal is mulling it over anyways.

Please! The Delica is perfect and the clip fits secure. Anything smaller wouldn't be right.

You're right.
The only thing that I don't like very much on my CF Delica, is the rather short and slim clip. It doesn't fits as secure to my pocket as the FRN Delica does.
So I wouldn't like Spyderco to change the clips on smaller knives.

The clip on my Caly, Jr. ZDP is PERFECT! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Have you ever tryed using a smaller clip, I have. Small clips work fine. It's an improvment.
I layed down my new Salt1 next to D'Allara. You can see the the D' even for it's size has a shorter clip. The Salt1's clip looks huge on this knife handle. It's an Endura clip. The Salt1's clip goes way up the handle and digs into my hand. see proof:

see solution: With a sensible clip, that doesn't eat up over 3/4 of handle.
Fits nicely into pocket, easy in easy out and doesn't fall out.

I still like smaller clips.
It doesn't matter if you like what they give you or not, they are good knives, I like them. It is just so obvious an oversize part of the knife. It is like putting a saddle on a Rat Terrier.
Hi Gull Wing. Good input, really appeicate.
We created the pocket clip on a knife and we've been deep into it as a functional feature.
We probably make more dedicated clips and more types of clips than other companies. Always in that quest for the better performing clip.
So if there is any input to share in this area we'd like to hear it.

I like wire clips and have noticed the wire clip on the UKPK to be a very low ride clip as compared to the dodo/poliwog/D'Allara etc. I think Spyderco should offer the lower riding UKPK clip as an after market option for owners of wire clipped knives to purchase. I would definately go for one (I even broke a poliwog clip trying to make it a low rider ala the UKPK).
