off at 1400hrs on the 16th, back (too) bright and (too) early on the 3rd... with a whole pile of books to buy and more information overload coming.

and no car... insurance totaled it yesterday, now I get to wait for the payout so I can finish up the 5yr financing... get my extention on the line of credit eventaully too.

We have a forced shutdown, won't go back until Jan 2nd. Good thing the unemployment account is still open.

Steve,
The same as you, except that I'm working until 5:30PM EST. I like that I only have to take 4 vacation days for a 10 day vacation :D

No days off for me. It's studying for the next five and a half weeks. I've got four exams.

As a stay at home Dad, I'm "off" for the next two or three years. Good thing I get sexually harassed by the "boss" regularly ;)
Cheers,
Rob

For those of you who have to work: hang in there and take care.

For me, this is the first year that I wish I had to work during the hollidays.

Unemployment sucks sometimes

I have Christmas Day off, only because it's too expensive to pay me time and half to work it(that's what I'm told anyway)

I've been in Scotland on deployment since Nov 10th- Dec 18th and now in Albuquerque with my girlfriend until Jan 02.
It's only costing me three days vacation time for two months away from the office. (well, my lab)
