Just recently found my Triangle Sharpmaker 204MF but lost the instruction book. Anybody got info on how to use it or how I can get a manual?

Hey Watchdog,
Welcome to the Forum.
For a strong "Utility" edge:
Start with the corners of the dark rods in the 40° slots. Very lightly stroke heel (closest to handle, in a pulling motion) to tip about 20 times (20 times each side) alternating sides. Then switch to flats of dark rods and repeat 20 times each side. Replace dark stones with white stone, using the edges. Again 20 strokes. Then switch to flats of white stones. And finally 20 strokes to both sides of edge.
Make sure sure to use brass safety rods during sharpening.
For a even sharper but weaker edge perform the same procedure above but use the 30° slots.
Hope this helps!

Greetings Watchdog and welcome to the Forums <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
If you want a visual, SFO can send you a new instruction book for the SharpMaker. Send us an email at sfo@spyderco.com and we'll get one right off to you.
I just (a year ago) moved from the islands myself (Kona). I like to play Kealii Reichel, Brudda Iz, Ojean, and Pure Heart in the shop.
John,....thanks for the tutorial. Perfect <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
