Are you bothered by scratches on your H1 blade? If so, how did you get them out?
I have a salt1, and I love it, I whittle a lot, usually white pine. I know how I got the scratches, it was when I hit some small knots, scratched the heck out of it and also put a couple notches in the cutting edge.
I could leave it as is, because I sure don't want to make it worse (done that before). The factory finish is very nice, but would like a more satin finish if possible.

Scatches are like scars, It is hard enough to get them on much less get them off. Maybe someone will have a helpful sugestion. :)

You can't get them out without serious buffing and even then they'll just be back in the form of new ones. Mine is full of scratches but I love it and use it all the time. Battlescars add character. ;)

Ok, it's not a real big problem, doesn't effect the cutting.

The more scratched my Para gets, the more I use it for those tasks that you wouldnt use a new blade for. This makes me use and appreciate my Para more than my other knives that get less pocket time. I might polish it some eventually, but it might be like a yearly thing.
