What is it?

What will it be on?

How does it work?

What is it comparable to?

When will we see it?

What will the price range be?

I heard i was pretty unique and am very crious.

If it's the lock I think you mean, it'll be on the Meercat and unlocks by slightly rotating one scale in relation to the other (about the pivot). I have some scans of it in operation I can email if you're interested.

Sal does a demo where he lets you try and figure out how the lock works. After you admit you're stumped, he blows air on the lock, and it unlocks!

I will tell you it just blew me away!

Sal is quite the showman, and you can be too. That is, when the Meerkat comes out.

One way or the other, you pay for your tools!

Thanks a lot for the piccies Clay, much appreciated.

It does beg the question though, if the lock is released by a slight rotation of the scales, how does it copy with uneven pressure of the hand through a tough cut ?
On Spyderco's past experience with locks I have no worries over the lock strength or accidental opening, but the type of opening technique explained does have me wondering "exactly" how it works. Guess I wont now this until I have one in my hand

Basically it's a lockback with one of the scales leveraging the lock. The blade is only 2" long so I don't think there will be a lot of "hard use".

You'd be surprised how much hard use my Ladybug gets

Now there's a knife that punches above it's weight.

hey, if scratches add character, my ladybug is one hell of a comedian...

I've given up counting scratches on it, basically a new finish on the blade. One hard use blade!

We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...
