I was hoping to hear from some people that bought the SpydeRench. I looks like a lot better design than my klunky Leatherman! Any advice on a multitool purchase would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

I love my Spyderench. It is a remarkably good compromise that solve a lot of tool issues. However, it is not the best at anything. it's not the best knife, screwdriver, or wrench, but it is downright handy.

The Spyderench is ugly and beautiful at the same time. There is no in-between on this puppy. People either like it or hate it.

The main problem with owning any Spyderco is the addictive qualities of owning the best.

Bet you can't buy just one.

One way or the other, you pay for your tools!

Dude ~ The Spydewrench is simply AWESOME! For a biker like me, its an indespensible tool!! I guess some slight improvements have been made since its first production run! The 440C blade on this wrench is beyond compare! Its scary sharp...

Think of the Spyderwrench as a middle ground between conventional multi tools and deadicated tools.
Leatherman and SAK's are aimed at light duty use, the Spyderwrench is for medium duty tasks. If you want heavy duty then you should be using a dedicated spanner, knife, screwdriver, etc.

This is a great tool, but beware, only it's mother could love it for it's looks
