Opinions of the C35 Q, Spyder cutout

I'm loking at my latest check, the one with my injury weekend on it...



I'm not going to be able to get the Dragonfly this time around, have to get it next time.



Whats your opinion of the Q? I've played with it before and it's a sweet knife, very sheeple-friendly and all.



I can get one for under $50, and thats 1/2 my spending cash for the next 2 week.



Plain or Serrated though?

Great little knife for carry. Really light weight and yetr pretty strong. Getting harder to find these days. If my memory serves me right Sal said that there may be as many as 50 different blade designs of the Q. I kind of have a place in my heart for the Q, so far in my looking and traveling I have come up with about 30 different ones and have seen 4 or 5 more that I don't have but I want. If you want a small lightweight knife for light daily carry I think its a good knife. You still see them on ebay from time to time but high cost. Check out A.G. Russel I know you are in Canada but they have a flag Q for a fair price. Otherwise good hunting. Just my 2 cents worth.

Actually, Cutting Edge has about 9... only the spyder though.

I carry the Serrated Cricket and Plain Delica, but looking for something fancy yet not going to catch every single eye when it opens...

I like the fact that the clip is any of the 4 positions, should make it easy to carry anywhere.

I think the Q has &quot;Pizzaz&quot; up the kazoo, butt I remember trying to cut a dog chew in half for my mutts and it was tough stuff. The edges of the cutout blade kept catching on the material (pigear I believe). And don't even try to spread peanut butter with it. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
I love to open envelopes with it. The Q stood for &quot;Q&quot;uestions about it I had to answer whenever someone noticed it at work. The bug is my favorite of the three I have.

This isn't mine, butt it is a very unusual one.

He has no problems shipping to the states, not sure about his shiping method, probably UPS or FedEX though.

I know he prefers creditcard, but will take money orders, shipping upon the bank clearing it(next business day). The bank's across the walkway in the mall, about 30-40feet away.

When you consider that this is canadian prices... US x 1.5=canadian..

for example, your source sells a Delica at $40... well, 40x1.5=60, and I can grab a Delica for 68.

The only Q I can get from Cutting Edge is the spyder cutout(standard). They don't have any of the other's in stock.

The REI Q was discontinued quite a while ago. I spent one day calling every store and asking them if they had any. Even called the headquarters and asked them. If you find one at an REI store BUY IT. They don't know they have it. I bought the last three the store here in MN had about 9 months ago after they found them for me. Good luck.
