I went in to get the Q today, and they raised the price $15!
It was 45 2 weeks ago, 60 today. I went and got a SS Dragonfly, plainedge, for 80 instead.
This is one sweet knife, a little stiff, but a bit of lube will fix that. The lines are perfect, the fit and finish are perfect...
Not a single flaw that I've found yet!
Great job on this one Sal and Crew.
We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...
Should have bought the sharpener! I've got an extra Q I might part with for less.

Just got off from 5 nights in a row, made an omlet for breakfast. The cheese was cold from the fridge, and I wasn't about to wait.
Damn that flat grind just slides in! The Hollow grind of my Delica needs a bit of force, but the Dragonfly just glides...
Now we just need a 3" version of it.

The Dragonfly is a very efficient design and the only flatground SS that Spyderco makes AFAIK. Very engravable if you want a special gift for someone(or yourself) <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
If you can live with 2 7/8" instead of 3" then you could not go wrong with the C52 Calypso Jr. It has all the good points of the Dragonfly in an even more ergonomic package. Either the "fishscale" lightweight with its better steel or my fav the discontinued(sob) micarta make you look around for something else to cut.
Flatground blades definitely slide thru material better than hollowground, especially on deep cuts.
