Well...I need a Spyderco serrated kitchen knife so I have been busy paying off my new grinder and saving up to buy the wife and I a better breat knife. I am thinking the K04BK 6 inch serrated knife. The dollar store bargain is not cutting it anymore..... :D :D :D

So here is my latest batch of knives I have been working on the last few weeks. I have been checking in time to time here but mostly lurking as time has been a factor lately. I am back to work in May so things are FINALLY starting to get back to normal. Heck, I even ate a piece of pizza last week. Things are looking up:):):)

So here they are. I even made myself one for once. I am really going to keep it too, this time:)

Let me know what you think. The warncliffe utilities have been really popular. These are the same design just tweaked a bit.

Take Care

Craig

Here is another shot of mine in the hand. I will be putting green canvas micarta on it. It will also be able to have a wrapped handle. I wanted to be able to have options.

Here is a Utility I finished and sold a week or so ago. I will definetly be powder coating more blades in the future. This one had F-22 Carbon fibre handles.

Thanks for looking

Craig

That finished blade at the bottom is beautiful, and all of the knives look great.

Looking good Craig!!

Your grinding is coming along pretty well. What grinder, wheels and, platens are you using?? The powder coating looks pretty good too!! Are you doing your own heat treat as well? (That's one of the more interesting parts with me driving the process.....especially when it comes to the quench and cryo treat. YEOW!!!)

I'm away from the shop so haven't been able to complete the few I have started. Have to hit Texas Knifemakers up for some micarta again.

Stay safe and well,

Java

, too bad there isn't an emoticon for gnawing at your own arm. Man i saw those and needed something to chew. The good news is that i think i lost a few lbs from it.

Craig,
as always your work looks outstanding. The powder coating turned out very nice. I cant wait to see whats in store. Take care,

Wow,

The way I see your improvement going on at every piece you show us, I am going to order your first batch of your 2010 production. At the rate you are going, they should be the next Sebenza !!!

Take care and congrats!

Thanks guys. As for specs...well they have been sent out to heat treat and I can't remember all the specifics for them :o I will post some specs and finished pics when I have them back and ready for shipping.

Java...I am using a Coote grinder with 10" contact wheel. I heat treat my own O1 blades but these are all 440C so I send them out for professional heat treating. I do like to heat treat my O1 blades though. I am going to look at an oven tomorrow. It needs a heater coil but the rest of it is all there and the guy only wants 30 bucks for it:)

Senate, I have not really come up with model names yet...but I do intend to...eventually:)

John, yours will look just as good :D :D :D couldn't resist :p

Thanks again for all the commenst guys!

Take Care

Well, so much for discrete...nah, i'm too excited to care either way. Now i'm gonna be distracted at work  but on the plus side, i will be thinking of a great thing to come.

Good looking site Jesper. Good looking knives too and plenty useful I believe.
Yours too CKE, I like to see fellow knifemakers work.
