I'm usually on here A lOT, but this past week I've been distracted by a new video game, Kingdom Hearts II (if you have a PS2, this and the first Kingdom Hearts is a MUST HAVE GAME if you like Disney and the Final Fantasy series)\]
So what steals your "Spyder-Time"?

Is it any good? I'm kinda torn between KH2, Suikoden 5, or Drakengard 2 right now.
Yes I'm another video game guy, but sadly, my PS2 has not gotten the attention it deserve recently. I don't think I've used it for anything more than a DVD player in months... :o
For me its either work or my wife has the computer.

Work, School, Gaming, a couple other forums, going out with my gf, and sleep.
And speaking of sleep I think I need some because I just read:
Work and sleep.
As Work and Sheep, which of course made me look at it closer. :D

Soldering, memorizing notes, looking for more projects and ideas(and parts for), my hour or so of TV a day, and eating. Sleep is only for a couple hours a night anyways.
Usually though I'm either nose deep in my books or soldering away. Need to either make or find a pillow for my soldering chair(or just get a better chair to sit on for 3-4hrs straight). Spent 3hrs today at it, had to scrap a board and start fresh 2hrs in(screwed something up and I don't feel like trying to figure out what).

- CSI on TV (4 times a week over here at the moment  )
- When my girlfriend is chatting on MSN :( (after all, it's HER computer :( :D )
For me sleep, school, going out climbing and doing homework ;)
That is in a ramdom order, i think school is top of the list :D
- CSI on TV (4 times a week over here at the moment  )
CSI rules! We get two new episodes a week but I keep missing them :(

Nyah-nyah! :p CSI on Spike TV 2X per night and thrice on Friday. (With a repeat at midnight) and then there's CSI: Miami and CSI NY. :D I also have Seasons 1 and 2 of both LV and Miami and planning to obtain all the rest as soon as I can afford them. I relax with an entire shelf of books dedicated to taphonomy, forensic anthropology, pathology, ballistics and gunshot wounds, criminalistics, forensic entymology, and case studies in forensics (and Pat Cornwell, James Patterson, or John E. Douglas (and Richard Montanari for the wierd as hell deviant stuff) on the other "light reading" shelf.) I say I was CSI'd out but I still can't get enough of the stuff............started years before CSI came on.
What else????
Moving to California in May- packing up the apartment.
Taking classes for ISCET test. (Vampyrewolf take note)
Exploring the mountains in Death Valley and climbing at Red Rocks.
Camping and 4-wheeling anywhere between Las Vegas, Death Valley, and Pioche where I also go to visit Art Washburn and use his shop and cotinue my apprenticeship knifemaking........
Haven't had time to catch up here.

If I am NOT here, it means a couple of things: 1. I am at work in Boston, and do not have my computer. And if I am too sick to sit at the computer. Of late, it is because I am in Boston.

Red Rocks is mostly weathered sandstone. The reds and browns come from iron deposited in layers on the sandstone and leaching through the masifs. It's pretty weathered with lots of crack systems, chimneys, and chicken heads for free climbing. Climbing ranges from the 4+ scampering, to bouldering, to several canyons with tons of 5.6 - 5.9 single pitch climbs to world class climbs on Mt Wilson.
The shot below is of Mt Wilson and shows the Aeolian Wall with 4 different routes at 5.10+. I believe the shortest route is a 17 pitch ascent.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v206/tankajava/MtWilson800.jpg
Woman of Mountain Dreams entails a couple of overhead dihedrals guaranteed to test your faith in God and is rated 5.11a.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v206/tankajava/MtWilsonWoman.jpg
The climber is pinned and on the lower approach but it's obviously a direct aid climb as the ratings imply.

It may be an international group, but I'd have to check if they do national or international accreditation. This course gives me a certificate but not accreditation unfortunalty. But then again I also plan to get into the 2yr program if I can find some way to finance it.

Where out here?
Where out here?
Sunny So-Cal. Verrrry sunny. I'll be working at the Air Force Flight Test Center up around the Lancaster-Palmdale area. Will be living in Rosamond and happy to be back where I can bicycle for miles without dodging maniac drivers. It also puts me closer to the back door into Death Valley and the Panamint Range, Sequoia and King's Canyon, and my beloved Pacific Ocean. Hated diving the swamps in Texas and Lake Meade, though close and deep, didn't have the marine life I enjoy. Home again!!!!! :D

Stop protesting and get busy ya whippersnapper! :D It always looks good on a resume....... Certificates, accredited or not, show initiative on your part and can separate you from the other techs during interviews.

Aloha ALL,
For me, it's Hell or Hell recovery...damn it.
Good things that keep me away are catching up on emails (yes, I know, I owe a LOT of you guys some replies. :o ) or just family time. ;)
Otherwise, it is possibly working on other projects that involve a Hole in the blade! :)
God bless and take care

For me it's usually work, but not work in one sense - I test software for a living (along with all the accompanying paperwork - ISO9001 :() I can check in while tests are running, but if I'm on a deadline, like this week is going to be, with Microsoft's patch release, very little time may be available. The last little while, it's been prepping a rental property for rental after work hours and weekends, so it's been a little hectic. I like to drop in for a break :D

I have been almost convinced that you never really STOP looking at the forums! Almost like you have a Wi-fi PDA that you can keep tabs on the forums with. You got several hundred posts (I think) in the past MONTH!!!
Anyway, school is the thing that keeps me off the most. Got 3 classes of all 400-level math this quarter, and it gets very time consuming.

Well, I spend quite a lot of time at work (although a wise man told me once that everyone should have an activity, but this shouldn't degenerate into work), so I hardly find time for my families (here and there) :). Usually the evenings are reserved for my kids and wife and after they go to sleep I find some time to check the Forum. I also check it from the office, but only a few minutes a day :(
Ebay! :D Lots to look at there now. :)

When I'm at work, I check in when I can, usually every few hours, but when I'm home, especially if I'm typing papers for school, I check in every ten minutes :p It's my way of procrastinating.
I think I average at least ten posts a day, and that's on a slow day. I'm one of those people who just can't shut up :o
I won't even tell you how often I check my email... :p
