I just found this forum through a link on Peter Atwoods site.
http://edcforums.com
It is a forum for discussing various items that you EDC (knives, flashlights, multitools etc.)

I best avoid it then...knives brought me to this forum and boom my knife budget skyrocketed. This forum brought me to fancy flashlights and boom! I got all sorts of fancy flashlights....that new sight talks multitools as well? Uh I think I will stick with my beat up, all black, first edition leatherman original, and remain ignorant of the best up and coming multitools.

I'm on that one as well - it has potential. It's still pretty new, so it's not expensive for me YET :) Now this forum....that's a WHOLE new story :D

Hi,
Thanks for mentioning my forum.
I learned that spyderco had a company forum from the visitors from here. A spyderco product has been my constant companion for years. I think the spyderwrench it the greatest multitool every created bar non.
Will I get banned if a mention once in awhile that I would like to see the spyderwrench come back into production?

Thanks for the heads up, i hope to see everyone there.
Welcome to the forum jonsidneyb,
its not a likely occurrence around here to see someone get banned. Were just too nice for it.

Shoot if that was this forum's policy non of us would be left, we are always calling for a sprint run, or a resurrection of a dc'd model. Spyderco likes input from everything I can tell.
So Zen, does it feel like your being sucked into a black hole. Nah maybe just bounced from one side to the middle of the same black hole... ;) I'm already wearing three flashlights and three knives...anymore gear and I'll need the Batman utility belt or Grandpa's suspenders!

I took a glance around that forum, and may join later, but it's funny to see all the screen names from THIS forum over there, and any time there's a knife picture posted by one of us, it's always a :spyder: !!!
Ging is right, this could get expensive...

Yeah that is pretty funny. A lot more of us will have to go over and post our EDC...not near enough examples of Spyderco in the photos so far. ;) :spyder:

I think I know what you mean. I empty my pockets and belt, and loose about 3-5 pounds. My daypack weighs 17-20.

Whew - I'm not the only one :D :D You've got me beat with your daypack, though - My Maxpedition Fatboy Jumbo is running about 10 pounds, give or take. It's got to be the water bottle...yeah, that's it..... :)

My body uses a lot of water. The water bottle on my pack is 1.5liters.
