At the moment, I've only got two.... :( Cool thing about the SF is the scale is so easy to change, you can have a different scale for every day of the week! :D

Thanks for the kindness, :)

G11 must use a different binder than G10, because it has practically no smell when you work it. G11 has slightly higher flexural strength, and consequently slightly lower impact strength. The main difference, though is the maximum operating temperature of 165 C, versus 140 C for G10. Also has slightly higher dielectric strength. Both of the last are important in certain printed circuit board applications, but for the purpose of a knife handle, they are essentially equivalent.

Thanks for the comments.... :D

I should quit using the internet. Now I have another knife on my list.
Are they still in 420J2 or are they in AUS 8 now?

They are making them in AUS-8, but there have been no reports of them in the USA yet (so far only Germany).

I wouldn't let it worry you because the 420J2 ones have very good edge retention and even perform as well if not better than some of my AUS-8 blades.

If you really want to hold out for the AUS-8, you could always ask the people you order from if they are the AUS-8 ones. The AUS-8 version will say AUS-8 on the tang.

Potterma,
Great work. That is truely a looker in its own class. Its neat to see what SF mods you can come up w/ and i seem to like each one more than the last.
Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work.
